What has changed on Petrol Tracker

Prices on the site are refreshed twice a day. They were last refreshed at 10:00 on 28 August 2026. Below is a dated log of the notable changes to the site and the data.

Petrol Tracker pulls every UK forecourt's own price from the official Fuel Finder open data and rebuilds twice a day, so what you see here is close to live rather than a weekly average. Each refresh updates the national figures on the home page, the twenty city pages, and a page for every postcode district we cover.

If you want to be told when the price near you moves rather than checking back, set a free price alert for your postcode. You can also browse the cheapest petrol by area, compare fuel offers and loyalty schemes, or read the fuel saving guides. Full detail on where the data comes from is on the method and sources page.
